The monoprint series Reason and Romance engages the binary of organic and geometric form. The “opposing” forms are arranged in interactive dance-like compositions and are represented as more similar than different. Each monoprint was hand pulled on an etching press in a process combining many individual copperplate and polymer etching plates, hand-cut mylar stencils, and watercolor transfers.
